KASI Xmas Party and Delivery of Uniforms

The Kapuso AABC Scholarship Initiative recently held its Xmas party and 2nd kumustahan session with its scholars last December 19,2008 at the Asian Academy of Business and Computers Lecture room at around 3:00 pm.

Kapuso Foundation Executive Director Nonie Dela Fuente and Kapuso Foundation Project manager Marivic Ilagan were present in the event. Mark Calub, KASI coordinator and Mr Roy Morales, School Administrator were also Present.

Mr. Delafuente and Ms Ilagan personally facilitated the Kumustahan and workshop which aimed to gain insights from what were the most important things that they learned and the challenges that lay ahead for KASI scholars.

Delafuente also scored the importance of perservering in their studies saying, "That a lot of people's dreams are hinged on your dreams and for others, this may be your last chance... so please do your best."

Mr. delafuente also pointed out that this was KASI batch Zero, meaning that this would earmark whatever improvements that the project would be able to improve in the next suceeding batches.

The occasion ended with the distribution of KASI Tshirts, raffle prizes and a very hearty meal courtesy of MAX, Mini Stop, Burger King, Pepsi , Coca Cola , Summit Mineral Water, and other sponsors
